A note of thanks to Jean Root for the photograph and following information. The land where Plateau Cemetery was located was sold to a private owner back in early 1900s. The relatives of the deceased people were notified of the sale and were told to have their family members moved by a certain date. Some did, the ones that were not moved were moved were reburied in one mass grave at Plateau Cemetery with no headstones. It appears that when Marsena's wife died she was buried in the Mountainview Cemetery and he was moved to be next to her. His wife died in 1889 so he was long gone before the sale happened.
