Veteran Dead at Malden
MALDEN, July 1 -
Daniel B. Jenness, an old resident, and a veteran of the civil war, died
at his home on Clifton st. today. He was born in Maine 65 years ago and
had been a resident of Malden 40 years. He served thoughout the war in
the 9th Massachusetts battery and was a member of Hiram G. Berry post
40, G.A.R., of this city. He leaves a wife and son.
